I recently purchased a WSD-1501GPH. I have read through the manual, including the section on PID parameters on page 12 of the manual. I am still not quite sure what each setting does and I would like an in-depth explanation of the P, I, and D parameters and what they do.

I think I have a pretty good idea of how the P parameter works but the I and D parameters remain unclear. I also wonder how the I and D parameters change the P parameter or how all three work together.

Thanks for posting your question here. Our manual provides some basic knowledge regarding the PID control and PID tuning. Parameter I accounts for past values of the error. It will continually sum the controller error, to adjust the output. Parameter D accounts for possible future trends of the error, based on its current rate of change.
