Adding Heat element to Bradley Digital Smoker Question

I have a question regarding my new smoker, i am adding a additional heat element and my queston is with the duel probe PID condtroll model WSD-1203CPH do i need to reprogram or will it work fine as is?

No, you don't have to. Just need to change the P value. For example, increase the P value from 70 to 140 for an extra 500W element.
