This is a thermocouple-based wireless thermometer. It allows the user to monitor the temperature measured by a thermocouple sensor remotely up to 100 feet. The wireless unit eliminates the need for a long sensor cable that could be difficult to install and less reliable. It can be used for applications such as monitoring the temperature of stove or kiln from another room or different floor.
The default package comes with two display units. One is the remote monitor unit (AT210-B) and other is the thermometer unit (AT210-A). The temperature sensor is on the thermometer unit. Both the thermometer and remote monitor unit contain built-in alarm buzzer. There are two alarm settings. One is for high limit alarm and other is for low limit alarm. The thermometer unit also has a 12VDC output port to power external buzzer. The external buzzer can be placed in another location with cable. Please change unit quantity options above if you need.
This thermometer accepts eight types of commonly used thermocouple sensor. Compared to commonly used thermistor sensor for home appliances, the thermocouple sensor is more reliable and covers a much wider temperature range. For example, with a K type thermocouple, it can measure from -328 to 2495 degree Fahrenheit (or -200 to 1368C). With B type thermocouple, it can measure up to 3272F (or 1800C).
The gauge is powered by 12V DC through an AC adapter (included) for continuous operation. It can also be powered by car battery.
Version note: We are currently shipping AT210 (v2) version. v2 version is not compatible with AT210 made in 2019 or early. If you need a replacement meter for your old AT210 set, please contact us.
Note: Thermocouple sensor is NOT included. A K type thermocouple mini connector is included. It allow you to connect any of the K type thermocouple on our web to this thermometer.
