SSR Cooling Kit

This kit is for cooling the controller box that contains SSR and internal mounted heat sink. The kit includes a cooling fan and a thermal switch. The fan is 120V AC powered with aluminum frame for high temperature operation. It can be directly powered by the 120VAC in the controller box. The thermal switch is a normally open type. It is specially designed for SSR cooling temperature range. It will turn on the fan when the SSR is above 115 °F (45 °C) and turn off the fan when SSR temperature drops to 85 °F. The switch can be attached to the SSR or the heat sink (protecting sleeve should be kept on the switch).
 
The SSR heat dissipation is only an issue during the initial heating up of the system when full power is passed. Once the temperature is stabilized, the SSR may only passing a very small amount current to maintain the temperature. The temperature on the SSR will drop. The thermal switch will turn off the fan to reduce the noise.

The fan carries one year warranty.
