Brewing in a bag (BIAB) is a brewing method that merging all the steps into only one kettle, which can maximize the brewing quality and minimize your time, space and effort. With this small box, you can enjoy the all-grain brewing in a shorter and simpler day.
This 12 x 10 x 8” enclosure front panel is pre-cut for exactly what you need to install the controlling parts. In addition, it comes with an external mounted 40A SSR heat sink and a set of mounting holes for the SSR. (Heat sink's dimension is 4.1 x 6.9 x 1.0" or 104 x 175 x 25 mm)
The beige colored paint is very difficult to paint than the black color. Any imperfection of the top paint, or small scratch by the normal use will expose the base color. So, the base paint of this enclosure was changed to a strong and durable industrial flat textured black finish, which makes the final finish paint easier.
The box is made by 0.060" (1.5 mm) thick steel. The door comes with a lock and key. The hinges of the door are removable and can be installed on either right or left side. Gasket, plugs and hangers are also provided. So that the enclosure can be easily mounted on a wall with screws or hanged on the wall with the hangers. The opening for XLR connector is about 22mm.

Here is a control box built of a 30A, 240V Brew in a Bag (BIAB) system. The front panel includes 1 x PID controller, 1 x timer, 1 x element switch, 1 x reset button for timer, 2 x pump switches, 2 x alarm switches, 1 x element indicator, 1 x flashing buzzer, and 1x key switch.
The wiring of this control panel included an interlock mechanism to prevent the system being turned on when its pump or heating element is put into “On” position.
