This is a K type thermocouple sensor based plug-n-play controller. This controller offers a much wider control temperature range than the other thermistor and RTD sensor based models we have It allows the user to control the temperature from -50 to 1300 C ( -50 to 2300 F). The controller can be used for either heating or cooling control. It can be use to control coffee roaster, lead melting pot, small heat treating oven, composite curing oven, small Kiln, refrigerator, freezer and more... 

This controller has a 6-step programmable temperature function. Users can set each step to different temperatures and durations. The duration of each step can be set from 1 to 9999 minutes. Please note, this is a step controller not ramp/soak controller. The advantage is that it is much easier to program. The limitation is that you can't control the rising speed (ramp speed) of each step.
 
The controller has an internal buzzer alarm that can be used as a high limit alarm. It can also be used as an open loop alarm. If you forget to put the sensor in the system or the system failed to change the temperature in 5 minutes, the open loop alarm will go off.
 
The size of the controller limits how much heat generated by the internal SSR can be dissipated. This limits the size of the oven it can control. The rule of thumb is that if the initial heating process at full power draws 15A and takes more than 90 minutes to reach the proportional control band, the controller will not be able to handle the system, unless the output power is reduced or the oven is pre-heated.

Notes for customer outside North America:

• For international order, an US power cord is included. User can splice the connector of the cord to a power strip outlet that meets the local standard for the output.  For the input, the controller has standard IEC 320 C13/14 socket. Users can use a computer power cord that meets the local standard to power it. 
• For countries that use 220-240VAC power line, the maximum control power of this controller is 2400 Watts.
