This plug-and-play temperature controller can be used for controlling the temperature of electric kettle to one degree precision. To operate, plug the kettle to the socket of the controller on the back, drop the sensor into the pot from top and place the cover, turn on the power of controller and kettle, set the cooking temperature and timer. It will do the rest of job for you.
The sensor used is specially designed for immersion in the water. The sensor cable uses multi-strand high strength alloy wire jacked with virgin flouropolymer that is safe for food processing and durable for high temperature. The sensor tip is sealed in stainless steel housing with proprietary medical grade sealant that is certified by USP class VI test.
Instead of using thermocouple or RTD temperature sensor, this controller uses thermistor sensor that is that at least 10 to 100 times more sensitive. The result is a better precision control and stability. We believe this is the only plug-and play PID controller using thermistor sensor on the market that is under $1000.

Controlling the electric kettle at 195 F. It can be used for making French Press coffee.
