This plug-and-play temperature controller can be used for controlling the temperature of application that needs very high precision such as incubators, aquariums and biological experiments equipments. It can also be used for controlling the temperature of rice cookers for sous-vide cooking. It also can be used for oil bath, small distillation and more. To operate, plug the heater (or lamp) to the socket of the controller on the back, drop the sensor into the container, and turn on the power of controller.

This controller is essentially the same as our standard sous vide controller, WS-1500ES with the following differences. It has a higher resolution, (0.1° C or 0.1 ° F) and higher accuracy. The accuracy is guaranteed to be within +/- 0.1 ° C (or 0.2 ° F) for the range from 0.0 to 85 ° C ( 32.0 to 185.0 ° F). It has narrower temperature control and display range of -50 to200.0°C (or -58.0 to 392.0 ° F). It has six programmable temperature control steps, each step can be set from 0 to 9999 minutes with different temperatures.  

Application examples:

1) Holding the temperature of an 45 litter ice cooler at 37.0 °C with a 40 watts light bulb

2) Holding the temperature of an rice cooker at 64.5 °C for making the "perfect egg".

Notes for customers outside North America:

  • The "universal" output socket accepts either US power cord or the European CEE 7/7 cord.
  • For European customers, we will ship the controller with European CEE 7/7 power input cord.
  • The input power cord has NEMA 5-15P plug. International customers can by an adapter plug like this (link) from our website or from local stores. For the output socket, a two-prong EU plug can be fit in. International customers can also buy a adapter for US socket  (link) or a power cord with NEMA 5-15P plug (link) and install a plug that can fit to local power strip.
