Product Description:

This tabletop PID controller is designated for beer brewing application. Two controller options are available: EZboil® and SYL-2352 PID controller.

The PID controller (SYL-2352) is the one of the most popular PID controller for home brewing. It can be used for controlling mashing temperature and its manual mode can be used for boiling control. SYL-2352 offers two-line display, one for setting temperature and the other for actual measured temperature. It can hold the temperature within +/- 0.1F precision (may vary depending on the configuration and application). 

EZboil® (DSPR120) is a digital power regulator designed to automate the liquid boiling process. It has two control modes: Mashing and boiling. In the mashing mode, the controller will function as temperature controller instead of power regulator. It can control the mashing as good as the SYL-2352 (but easier to use) without tuning. In the boiling mode, it can bring the liquid to boil in the maximum speed; then automatically reduce the power to maintain the boil at a desired level. It can do better job than SYL-2352 for boiling. Timer function is available for these two modes. After maintaining at boiling/mashing for a predetermined time, it can shut off the power.

DSPR220 is a controller for automating the distillation process. It offers 0.1-degree resolution which is important for the distillation application. It can bring the liquid to the boil point in the maximum speed; then automatically reduce the power to maintain the boil at a desired level; It has a programmable alarm that can be used to notify the operator to remove the foreshots/heads at specific temperature. It also stops the distillation automatically so that the feints/tails will not be collected. The criterial for stopping the distillation can be either a preset temperature, or a preset distillation time. 

DSPR310 is based on EZboil® DSPR120 with following features: 1) Programmable temperature profile for step mashing mode (such as RIMS/HERMS). User can program the different mashing temperature and time duration for every step. Up to six steps can be programmed. 2) A multi-events timer, similar to our JSL-73B timer, is added for the boiling processing mode. This timer can activate the built-in buzzer to remind the operator adding ingredients at specific time. Up to 9 timer events can be programmed.
 
WS-2000FB has a large enclosure for good heat dissipation. For its power rating and input/output socket information, please check the model description below. This controller includes one PT100 RTD probe with 8’ braided cable. 12' braided cable is optional. Please select the model number of your preferred probe in the “RTD Probe Option”. For tri-clamp probe option, please leave a note for the part number and probe length option during checkout. Three types of RTD connectors are offered: RTDCON (Default), XLRCON and XLRCON-M. Please choose sensor socket option accordingly.
 
We currently offer 5 different models for different customers:
 
Model 1: It is designed for North America 120V AC power line only, where most circuits and outlets in a home in North America are rated as 15 Amp. The maximum power it can drive is 1800W. The input socket is IEC C14 and output socket NEMA 5-15R. For this model, the compatible input power cord option is 5-15P to C13, 14 AWG, 10 ft.
 
Model 2: It is designed for North America 120V AC power line only, and output power is rated as 20 Amp. The maximum power it can drive is 2400W. The input socket is IEC C20 and output socket NEMA 5-20R. For this model, its compatible input power cable option is 5-20P to C19.
 
Model 3: It is designed for North America 120V AC power line only, and output power is rated as 20 Amp. The maximum power it can drive is 2400W. The difference for Model 2 is the output socket for model 3 is IEC C19. The input socket is IEC C20. For this model, its compatible input power cable option is 5-20P to C19. C20 male plug option is also available.
 
Model 4: It is designed for North America 240V AC power line only, and output power is rated as 20 Amp. The maximum power it can drive is 4800W. The input socket is IEC C20 and output socket IEC C19. For this model, its compatible input power cable option is L6-20P to C19. C20 male plug option is also available.
 
Model 5: It is designed for Europe 220V AC power line only, and output power is rated as 16 Amp. The maximum power it can drive is 3520W. The input socket is IEC C20 and output socket IEC C19. C20 male plug option is also available.
