This K type thermocouple wire (rigid) with PVC insulation can be used as thermocouple extension wire to extend the current thermocouple wire. It is easier to strip compared to stainless steel braided extension wire. Max temp is 221°F (105°C).

Note for soldering: It is difficult to sold type K thermocouple wire because it contains AL and Cr. Stainless steel flux is recommended for soldering. Mechanical fasten like crimping wires together also works.
