This 7-strand type K thermocouple extension cable is more flexible and durable than solid wire. It is the same type of cable used in our EGT probe for automobile application. This wire  can be used to extend the length of the thermocouple cable. It can be crimped to the original thermocouple cable.

Note for soldering: It is difficult to sold type K thermocouple wire because it contains AL and Cr. Stainless steel flux is recommended for soldering. Mechanical fasten like crimping wires together also works.
