This EGT probe is specifically made for motorcycles or other small vehicles that have very limited space for probe installation. The rigid section of the probe above the fitting is shorter than our standard EGT probe so that less space is required for the probe.
The probe is made of K type grounded thermocouples with a thin and sealed tip. The sheath of the probe is made of Inconel 600 alloy which provides the highest working temperature available for this type of sensor. The diameter of the probe is optimized to balance the requirement of mechanical stability and response time.
This probe can also be used for air intake temperature measurement due to its small thermal mass.
Six types of mounting adapter are offered: 1/8" NPT, Weld-in Stainless Steel (SS), M8x1, M10x1, 1/4" NPT and 1/4" BSPT thread. Please make the selection at the "Mounting Type Option" box above. Please click here for extra fitting adapter.
