This EGT probe, being the most durable type we offer, is widely used for aircraft applications (popular in Europe) and measuring air intake temperature. It is made of type K grounded thermocouples with a thin and sealed tip made of Inconel 600 alloy, which provides the highest working temperature available for this type of sensor. The diameter of the probe is optimized to balance the mechanical stability and the response time.
This probe can also be used for air intake temperature measurement due to its small thermal mass.
Six types of mounting adapters are offered: 1/8" NPT, Weld-in Stainless Steel (SS), M8x1, M10x1, 1/4" NPT, and 1/4" BSPT thread. Please make the selection from the dropdown list "Mounting Type Option". For extra mounting adapters, please see Ad-KEGTS.
The default cable length is 6 feet (2 meters). A longer cable is also available at 13 ft (4 meters). To extend the cable even longer, you can use type K thermocouple extension wires (such as KX22GA).
Note 1: If you need a straight probe with a sealed tip, please check WRNK-193.
Note 2: Clamp-on adapter range is 1.5" ~ 2.1”, 38 mm ~ 55 mm.
