The KIT-STL201 is a DIY kit for a 50A still heat control panel. This system is designed to handle up to 2 x 5500W heaters. It has one still heat controller to control the distillation process in your boiler and a column thermometer to monitor the vapor temp at the top of the column. Wiring diagrams and other installation files are available after purchase.
Two PT100 RTD probes with an 8' braided cable are included in the kit. Please select the model number of your preferred probe. Seven
tri-clamp probe options are available. Please leave a note for the tri-clamp probe# you need. If you order two probes in this listing, two braided cables will be included. If you order one probe or less, we will include the same qty of cables in your package.

This kit includes each of the following:
- 12x10x8" Wall mount enclosure with complete precut, hanger, and 40A heat sink.
- Dual-line still heat controller (DSPR400) with 0.1 degree accuracy.
- Column thermometer with 0.1 degree accuracy (SYL-2362).
- 40A Solid State Relay.
- Flashing Buzzer for temperature/timer alarm.
- A pair of amp meter and amp meter to show system power informaiton.
- Four black selector switches for pump control, heater control and alarm mute.
- Contactor for each heating channel.
- Breaker switch for overload protection.
- Two sets of PT100 RTD temperature probe, braided cable and mating cable. Mating cable connector is XLRCON-M.
- Two 240V 30A NEMA L6-30R sockets for heater connection.
- 50 A Strain Relief Power Cord Connector for hard-wiring the power line.
- DIN Rail terminal blocks for power distribution.
- Engraved panel labeling tags.
Note:
- This kit is designed for North America 240V AC power lines that require four lines power connection (L1, L2, Neutral and Ground). Please verify that your power supply meets these requirements before purchasing.
- Input power cord is not included because each user may have different hook up requirements.
- The heating element is not included.
- This panel is rated as 50A output overall capacity. It is designed to drive up to 2 x 5500W elements. One element (main heater) is controlled by one 40A SSR. Another element (secondary) is controlled by a mechanical relay. See the document here for details.
