The TD-SENSOR-LT temperature probe is for applications that require a liquid tight seal, such as beer brewing or biodiesel production. This temperature sensor is compatible with our TD series plug-n-play controllers (please check below). The probe length is 4". The cable has two layers of TEFLON insulation that are strong and weather resistant. The braided cable added an extra layer of metal braid between the TEFLON layers for more protection.
The cable of the probe has a spring-locked, detachable connector. This detachable cable is convenient for systems that need to be moved for cleaning. It reduces the possibility of breaking the cable when the tank is moved around. The cable has three conductors, insulated with flouropolymer, color coded and protected with metal braid.
This sensor is compatible with our latest TD series plug-n-play controllers, including TD120, TD220, TD320, TD420P, TD500. It is not compatible with TD400P, TD100A, TD100B, TD110, TD200, TD300, TD400P, ECT-100 and ECT-100A.
Two cable length options are available: 8ft and 12ft. For its replacement sensor cable only, please see TD-Cable1.
Three mounting thread options are available: 1/2" NPT, 1/4" NPT, and metric M14.
Installing the 4" (100 mm) long probe into the TEE connector.
Due to the size of the sensing chip, the probe length is limited to 4 inches or longer. It is too long for it to be installed into the 90 degree port of the TEE. However, if your system allows the liquid flow to be bent 90 degrees, the probe can be installed into the straight port as shown in the picture below.
