The Auber's Cube 5S (CU005S) is a deluxe tabletop brewing control console for home brewers. Compared to the Cube 5E (CU005E), this model has the following exclusive features:
• Can automate the controls for a pump or a small heater through AUX sockets when the relays of DSPR320A are programmed.
• Illuminated 3-position AUX switches.
• Different power input/output configurations are available: US 240V (L1, L2, N, G), US 120V (L, N, G), and EU 230V (L, N, G).

DSPR320A Module, the heart of CUBE controller:
The built-in temperature controller, the EZboil®
DSPR320A, is designed for brewers to have the ability to do step-mashing, low-oxygen brewing, and post-boil whirlpool. Its temperature control function utilizes an artificial intelligence algorithm optimized for multiple mashing steps. With the EZboil®
DSPR320A, it is easier and more convenient to operate compared to a ramp & soak PID controller. Regular PID controllers may have overshoot or slow response issues when not properly tuned. However, for most mashing systems, the EZboil® DSPR320A can hold the temperature within one degree right out of the box. In boiling steps, users can program multiple timer steps, which can also be used to trigger multiple pump actions at different steps/times. For details, please check

Temperature sensor:
This controller includes one PT100 RTD probe with one 8' braided cable by default (12' braided cable option and 12' silicone braided cable option are also available). The PT100 RTD sensor provides high accuracy & a wider measuring range, which is recommended for precision applications like brewing. It is superior to digital sensors, thermistor sensors or thermocouples that competitors offer. 19 different probe length/thread options are offered. See the table below for more information. Please choose the probe option above accordingly. For tri-clamp probe options, please leave a note for the probe option# in the comment box during checkout. Or you can simply send us an email for the trip-clamp probe that you need. The RTD sensor connector on the CUBE controller is the male XLR (XLRCON-M).

Auber Cube 5S (CU005S) offers three different variations:
US 240V model (L1, L2, N, and G): This model works for the North American 240V AC power system that has four wires (L1, L2, Neutral, and Ground). It is rated as 30 Amp, 240V, 7200W. The power input socket is NEMA L14-30P. One power input cable connector (NEMA L14-30R) is provided for your convenience.
US 120V model (L, N, G): This variation is designed for North America 120V AC power (Live, Neutral, and Ground). Due to the limitation of the input power and the power-in connector, this model is rated for 20 Amp, 120V, 2400 W. The power input socket is a 5-20P flanged power inlet. The power output socket is a 5-20R flanged power outlet.
European 230V model (L, N, and G): This variation is designed for countries where the power main is 230 VAC with three wires (Live, Neutral, and Ground). This model is rated for 30 Amp, 220 V, 6500 W. The power input socket is L6-30P. A matching power input connector L6-30R is provided for your convenience. All three outputs (one heater, and two AUXs) are rated as 230 V AC.
The output socket for the heater is NEMA L6-30R for US 240V and EU 230 V versions, which is rated by 30A, 240V. An optional NEMA L6-30P plug that matches this heater socket is available. For the US 120V version, the output socket for the heater is a 5-20R flanged power outlet, which is rated for 20 A, 120 V.
Two output sockets for pumps are NEMA 5-15R. Maximum power output is 10A for each pump output. Total power output (one heater and two pumps) is limited by the total power input.
